Moar updates

Wow, it's been a year. I kinda forgot about this.

So I reached Class B on Oval, and I am on track to get to Class A through fast track if I keep up the clean string of races I've been having, or through week 13, as I am on 3.45 and have completed my MPR.

I've been sat on Class D on Road for a while. I kept doing Road until my iRating and sR plummeted horribly to... below 2... *shudder* but I'm well on course for getting my sR back up!

As of my last post, I've won two indycar fixed races, at Charlotte and Texas, a Class B race at Talladega and a whole bunch of street stock and other things. So yeah, we're diggin'!

RETURNING!

Bringing this right back to life. I enjoyed doing this.

I reached Class D in ovals, then my SR crashed in both road and oval, and thus, I'm not doing so well. I haven't run a race in a while, but when I get my new wheel, that will change :)

WEEK 13? LOL.

Note to self.

Don't race Week 13... almost lost the opportunity to become a Class D because of some idiots. Today, in a Street Stock race at Charlotte (Legends Oval) some guy turned down on me THREE times...

So yeah, Week 13? Never again.

Still en route to Class D on Ovals though :3

23/10/11 - Legends? LOL

Yesterday was the time to do a legends race, so I decided to do one. It took me a few laps to remember how to get around the track, but we got there in the end. I was running consistent 8's and 9's, and climbed through the field up to third. I was on track to win... until I came across some idiot for 2nd place. Out of turn 4, he seemed to have his head stuck up his... you know what. He tapped the wall, so I lunged to the inside, only for him to block. I continued to go low, and had the low line into the corner. This guy turned down two lanes and spun me, and himself. He went spinning into the wall, while I kept my composure, did a full 360 degree spin, and drove away. I lost 2 positions here, and I wasn't all too happy.

I had to work my way up the field again. I still had the speed to win. If anything, this motivated me to push my car harder and still win. I passed 4th, and 3rd pretty easily on speed. Then, it looked like that was where I would finish, unless I had the power to climb 5 seconds on 2nd in 10 laps...

It doesn't end there. I then seen smoke in turn 4. The idiot who crashed with me before did it again! He wrecked 2nd place while a lap down, so I was given an even better position. Then, I noticed 1st place was slow, and I was catching a lot. Unfortunately, I never had the time to get up there, and therefore finished 2nd place. It was a decent race, but I'll only race legends next week again, when it's the ROAD CHALLENGE!

Opening the Blog - 22/10/11

So, today, I got the idea to open this blog, and log how I am doing in iRacing over time. To let you guys catch up, I am a Rookie 3.60 on Ovals, on route to Class D, and a Rookie 2.45 on Road Courses.

So, today, I decided to do a nVidia Cup Race at Okayama, and that was a disaster, after being wrecked twice by the same guy... ah well. It was the top split race, and I was doing decent... I'll take 7th place in that race.

Then same the Street Stock Race at Oxford. That was good, since I started 2nd, and had NASCAR Nationwide Driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr enter, and he sucked, honestly. But I kept my nose clean, and finished 2nd. I was happy with that result, and now I'll no life on Road Course races until promotion day.

I'll keep you guys posted.
